Children in EYFS and Keystage 1 have milk or water available to them to have with their lunches. The children in Keystage 2 are offered water with their lunches.

For children in nursery and Keystage 2 the cost for a school dinner is £2.30 a day. Children in Keystage 1 are part of the Governments 'Universal Free School Meals' initiative.

Lunches should be paid for, in advance, on the school Parent Pay system.

The Parent Pay system can be accessed by clicking on the logo below:

Children are of course welcome to bring their own packed lunch and drinks from home.

Please note we have children in school with a severe nut allergy, therefore we request that your child does not bring peanuts, peanut butter, or snacks containing peanuts into school. Thank you.

We remind parents that we promote healthy eating at Newbald Primary School and request that chocolate bars and sweets are not brought into school for lunches and that children should only be bringing water into school to drink - no juice or fizzy drinks please.

Allergen information of foods served at lunch time can be found below, alternatively a paper copy can be made available in paper form from the school office.

Morning Snacks

Children in EYFS and Keystage 1 have fresh fruit and milk available during the morning break time and they are encouraged to eat and drink during this time. However, children in Keystage 2 do not have fresh fruit or milk available to them. As learning is a strenuous activity for children we allow the children in Keystage 2 to bring their own fruit in for a morning snack.
