This school continues to be good.
"The leadership team has maintained the good quality of education in the school since the last inspection. You have promoted a warm and welcoming atmosphere and pupils gain much from the exciting and enriching curriculum."
"Leaders have an accurate view of required developments, while a well-informed governing body keeps a watchful eye on school progress against agreed actions."
"Attendance rates are above national levels for all groups because pupils love coming to school and enjoy learning."
"The large majority of parents have confidence in the school and feel that it serves their village community well. "
"They say that learning is fun and they trust the adults, especially you, to look after them well. They mix positively and conduct themselves responsibly, playing a positive role in school life."
"The wide range of extra-curricular opportunities is impressive in a small school. Pupils’ horizons are extended by a variety of stimulating first-hand learning experiences, such as the ambitious recent visit to London."

Overall effectiveness of the school - Good
"This is a good school. It has several outstanding elements. The school takes excellent care of pupils and gives them exceptionally good guidance and support. Pupils feel extremely safe. By the end of year 6 attainment in maths is above average and in English it is significantly above average."
Effectiveness of the Early Years Foundation Stage - Good
"Children are well taught and learn well from many interesting and purposeful activities. the provision is well led and managed and its bustling, lively atmosphere is tempered by well judged, teaching sessions that move children on at a good rate."
Outcomes for Individuals and Groups of pupils - Good
"Pupils' achievement is good throughout the school. They read and write well for their age. Pupils are responsible and behave considerately. They are adamant that there is no bullying and no real arguments, only 'tiffs'. They say the best thing about school is 'Everyone is friends and we all lay together'. Pupils in the after school club receive excellent provision both before and after school. Pupils with special educational needs and/or disabilities make good progress. Pupils are well prepared for their future lives."

The well-managed breakfast and after-school club provide high quality care beyond the school day. Supervision at all times, including the busy lunch-time break, is excellent."

"The leaders and managers at the highest level are extremely successful in inspiring the school community. The quality of teaching is good and some is very creative. Equality of opportunity is outstanding because the school places this at the heart of its work."
